    Expenses

If you haven't had the opportunity yet, now is the time to review your expenses.  This is a great time to figure out what is really necessary and what is fluff.  Many of us regardless of what amount of money we make, all have tendency to spend more than what is really necessary.

Sometime it can be a simple as how often you go the store, or whether or not you make a list and stick to it.  One of the most amusing statements I have ever heard is "Never go to the grocery store when you are hunger."  Plan your trip and if you are in a relationships with a individual that is a little uncontrollable - Leave Them At Home.  You will find your grocery bill will become much smaller.

    FREEZE THAT PLASTIC

If you have credit cards, freeze them.  One really good suggestion is if you have a control problem, place them in a bowl of water, place the bowl of water in the freezer.  If you really need the card it's still there, but chances are by the time the ice melts you will either forgotten why you needed it or you will have reconsidered your position on whatever you wanted to buy.  And always remember credit card purchases is the most expensive way to buy anything in life.

Getting a Grip on Your Expenses.

    1. Pay-off all the small bills you can.
    2. Get rid of any unneeded credit cards.
    3. Get the cars paid off.
    4. Begin paying cash for everything you can.
    5. Look for the bargains.

I have rarely heard "Old Money" person talk about how much they paid for something, it usually about how little they paid.  Maybe that's part of the reason they have more money.

Start looking for other ways to save, amazingly enough a little here and there makes a lot of difference at the end of the month.  Here's one website that may help; http://www.retailmenot.com/grocery/
